This is an 8 Hour course required by New York State as the first step in obtaining a security guard license from the state of New York Department of state. The course provides the students with general overview of the duties and responsibilities of a security guard. Topics covered in this course include the role and responsibilities of a security guard, Legal power and limitations, emergency situations, communication and public relations, access control and code of conduct and ethics. Approved by NYS DCJS. This training is held on every Monday.
NOTE: Student can apply for the license upon completion of the course but will be required to complete16 hour OJT within 90 days.
