This is a course that must be completed within 12 (Twelve) months of the completion of 16 hour On-the Job Training for security guard and annually thereafter. This course is structured to provide student with updated and enhanced information on the duties and responsibilities of a security guard. The topic includes, the role and responsibilities of a security guard, Legal power and limitations, emergency situations, communication and public relations, access control and code of conduct and ethics and report writing. Approved by NYS DCJS. This training is held on Thursday through Saturday every week.
