8-Hour Annual In-Service Security Guard Training (Online)
New York State requires all licensed security guards to complete the 8-Hour Annual In-Service Training every 12 months after finishing the 16-Hour On-the-Job Course.

In NYS, the 8-hour Annual Security Course is mandatory for security license renewal. Mandatory training courses must be completed and on file with the Department of Licensing office before submitting your renewal application.
Flexible scheduling available on weekdays, weekends, and evenings. All you need is a device with a camera, microphone, and internet connection. A Zoom link will be emailed to you before class, and a certificate of completion will be provided after successful completion.
