No Security Training School in the State of New York NEEDS this information. You will just need to be 18 Years or older, A U.S Citizen or Green Card Holder with a Valid Social Security Number
Once you verify that your license is expired,The Division of Licensing Services (DOS) gives everyone a six month grace period from their expiration date to get their training courses in as well as their renewal form with the necessary fees. Once you have passed that six month grace period, you will be required to just get your fingerprints done and submit a new application to receive a new license.
As soon as your registration is complete, You will receive an email with the booking order confirmation sent to your email highlighting you of the courses you are taking, the date and time of your course. You will also receive a copy of your payment receipt.
P.S: Once you have those confirmations, you will be all set for your scheduled training date. Make sure you are on time with everything that is required for you to bring (See FAQ “what to bring to class”).
Please note that we do send out reconfirmation emails a day or two prior to your class session just as a friendly reminder that you have a course coming up.
If at any point you had a criminal record, You will need a letter of disposition or certificate of relief from the courts to reinstate your ability to secure a security license. These documents state that your case is closed and you are able to work. If you have multiple cases, you will need to have a disposition for each case.
However, please be advised that depending on your crime/conviction, the state MAY not issue you a license, as they have the last say on who gets a license (we are only responsible for the training portion).

Yes that is perfectly okay!!, We will accept students whose courses were paid for by another person regardless of the name on the billing, Our system would let us know who the student is and who paid for courses fees.
PS: Please ensure that the person who PAID for the course, forwards you or gives you a copy of that receipt (which they will receive to their email once the transaction has been approved)
Unfortunately the certifications and license that you get for New York State, is only good for New York. If you plan to move out of state and you are looking to continue your career in the security field, you will need to get certified for that specific state.
If for any reason you lost your certificate, Pls call our office immediately to request a new copy. You MUST give us 24 hour notice before picking it up at the office. Pls be advised that we charge a replacement fee of $10.00 for a new certificate
Unique ID Number (Also known as UID #) is your NYS Security Guard License Number. It usually starts with 100.
Yes we are licensed by DCJS. You can verify by visiting the DCJS website and look up the list of all approved security schools in New York.
At the time you are visiting the website, All the details on our courses and information are all up to date.
On our website, We have different methods to pay for the courses, Pls find the situation payment method to use that suits you, Once we verify payment is made, We will send you a receipt and confirmation email with the course schedule
Pls email or call us, we will verify cancelation and initial a refund or issue a coupon for another schedule security training if the case may be.
All refund will be credited back to the original payment method, credit, debit card used in the transaction within 7 – 10 business days.
The Division of Licensing Services (DOS) will send you a renewal letter in the mail about two months prior. On this renewal form, it will inform you of all of the courses you need to complete. Once you complete the required courses for them, you will fill this paperwork out and resubmit to them with their required fee.
If you moved since you received your license, they will mail this renewal form to the address they have on file. Please call (718) 503-1890 to make any necessary address changes or general inquires on your license status.
You would have to register to do the two courses based on our calendar schedules, Pls register for 2 different dates. You unfortunately missed an annual from the previous year, so in order to get your license renewed, you will need to complete two courses on two separate dates.
Pls note: *You CANNOT take 2 courses in one day or “Pay” for two courses and sit for one. Please do not ask if you can do so, as it is ILLEGAL!*

*Please note that there is a mandatory check in for each class session which will start 15 Minutes prior to class start time. For example: If your scheduled appointment is for 9am, You will start to get checked in at 8:45am. Please make sure to plan your travel time accordingly.*
